The Puddle Bumps

My latest work-in-progress, The Puddle Bumps is a conspiracy horror about a criminal defence lawyer called Jodie, who finds a videotape of a long-forgotten kids TV show from the 80s and has flashes of an episode in which all the puppet characters start killing one another in violent and gross ways. She starts to investigate the show, discovers a link to one of her old murder cases, and is ultimately led to the mysterious village of Dares Hill, which has a history of strange and inexplicable goings on.

Inspired by lost episode creepypastas, the surreal horror comedy puppet series Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, and the crime mystery The Sinner, The Puddle Bumps will be my darkest book yet.
