My fourth professionally published book has been released by Elsewhen Press! And it’s available to download for free.
Like Million Eyes: Extra Time, Million Eyes: Over Time is a collection of short stories set in the Million Eyes universe. I’ve used all the Million Eyes short stories to explore concepts and themes that are present in the novels in more detail, and from the perspectives of different characters. They’ve also been a vehicle to include even more conspiracy theories and urban legends than I could fit into the novels.
The main three novels in the trilogy occasionally make reference to the characters and events featured in the short stories (yep, I’m basically trying to make a Million Eyes Cinematic Universe 😆). Just like all the Marvel films and shows, you don’t need to read the short stories to read the novels, but you’ll enjoy the links and references if you do.
QUICK TIP: if you don’t have time to read all the short stories, but would like to dip into a few before reading the novels, the most important ones are Rachel Can See and Rachel Can Still See from Million Eyes: Extra Time, and The Covid Effect from Million Eyes: Over Time.
After the five stories, you’ll also find an exclusive extract from the upcoming Million Eyes III: Ouroboros, the final book in the trilogy, coming as an ebook on February 17th and a paperback on March 20th. It’s the first chapter, which is set in the future and focuses on a character you’ve not met yet.
Over the course of this week, I’m going to put out some posts on my Facebook teasing some things about each story in Over Time.
In the meantime, here it is!
