In 1947, an alien spaceship is said to have crash-landed in the Roswell region. This first article starts right at the beginning, looking at the first witnesses on record and the first reports of the incident that appeared in the Roswell Daily Record.

This article jumps to the 70s, when a whole new take on what happened in Roswell in 1947 started to emerge. Thanks to one particular witness coming forward, others came forward with their own stories, steadily turning the Roswell Incident into the world’s most famous conspiracy theory.

This article hones in on the stories about alien bodies being recovered from the various crash sites, and the highly controversial claims about alien autopsies.

The story continues with a look at why people believe that the government engineered a cover-up. I assess claims that several witnesses died mysteriously or were threatened by government officials or ‘Men in Black’, and take a brief look at the shadowy organisation said to have masterminded the Roswell cover-up – Majestic-12.

This final article hones in on the revelations made by the US Air Force in the 1990s: that the government really did engineer a cover-up – just not the one we thought. I also assess a number of alternative theories and come to a final conclusion, drawing together all of the previous articles.
