The first “Million Eyes” short story to be published in Scribble Magazine

Hey folks! The blog is back after a few weeks’ hiatus (with a new article coming this Thursday), and I’m over the moon to be able to share some exclusive news.

One of the Million Eyes Short Stories has been selected for publication in an upcoming issue of Scribble. Scribble is a short story magazine published by Park Publications UK and voted “Best UK Short Fiction Magazine” in 2007 at the Writers’ Grand Circle Awards.

It’s been going since 1999 and has built up a strong readership in that time. It offers writers the unique opportunity to receive feedback from the readers, who are able to vote for the stories in each issue. The three with the most votes win prizes — so here’s hoping the Scribble readers enjoy my story!

I’m not sure yet what issue the story is going to be published in, but I will let everyone know as soon as I do!

What I can say is that the story is called Who is Rudolph Fentz? and is inspired by the urban legend of Rudolph Fentz, an alleged time traveller, who I’ve talked about in two previous articles on the blog (here and here). It offers a new twist on the legend and, while it is a standalone tale, features the same mysterious conspirators who play an important role in the Million Eyes Trilogy.

I will post a more extensive plot teaser when I know which issue the story will be published in — so watch this space!

Keep an eye on the blog this Thursday. I’ll be posting a new article about Disney conspiracy theories. In the meantime, have a read of the first Disney conspiracy article I wrote last year.
