The latest on “Million Eyes” and accompanying collection “Million Eyes: Extra Time”

What a crazy, busy and exciting year 2019 is turning out to be.

First things first. Release dates.

I can officially announce that Million Eyes, the first book in the Million Eyes trilogy, will be released on January 10th 2020 as an ebook, and March 9th 2020 as a paperback.

The accompanying short story collection has been given the title, Million Eyes: Extra Time, and will be available as a free ebook sometime before the release of the novel, although I don’t have an exact date for that yet.

What I do know is that Million Eyes: Extra Time will feature 12 stories, 9 previously published and 3 brand new. It will also include an exclusive extract of the novel itself.

In the last few months, my time has been taken up by putting the collection together and writing new material for it, editing both the collection and the novel with my publisher, Elsewhen Press, and creating plans for a whole bunch of promotional activities. I’m not going to reveal too much about these at this stage, but let’s just say it’s going to be a lot of fun!

I can reveal that I’m due to appear on Spaced Out Radio on Tuesday October 8th (early hours of Wednesday 9th for UK listeners). This is a Canadian radio station all about conspiracy theories, mysteries and paranormal events. I went on there on few years ago. You can listen to the interview below.

This time around I’ll be talking about Million Eyes: Extra Time and the mysteries and conspiracy theories that pop up in that, including the assassination of JFK and the Loch Ness Monster. My hope is to go on again to talk about the novel, which would happen closer to the release date.

I’m also due to be taking part in a blog tour, starting on the January publication day.

Meanwhile I’m making good progress on the sequel, which I’m just calling Million Eyes II for now. Assuming the writing goes well, my plan is to get the second book published a year after the first, so January 2021 (for the ebook) and March 2021 (for the paperback).

And finally I’ve begun writing a new column on Time Travel Nexus called “Time Trek”. Basically I’m reviewing every Star Trek episode and movie that features time travel or is about time. So far I’ve reviewed The Naked Time, Tomorrow is Yesterday and The City on the Edge of ForeverNext on the list is Assignment: Earth, coming at the beginning of September.

That’s everything for now!
